Robert is a co-founder of SEBA International and currently the Managing Partner for the Firm’s Global Finance, Risk & Analytics practice based in New York and London. His recruitment focus and expertise lies in the finance and risk disciplines where he represents global clients within financial services and related industries. Robert leads assignments across the Americas, the United Kingdom, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Representative assignments have included: Chief Risk Officer, Chief Credit Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Director of Analytics, Head of Risk Methodology, Head of Market Risk, Head of Operational Risk, Director of Audit and Finance and Heads of AML, Fraud and Financial Crime.
Robert began his executive search career at A-L Associates, Inc. in the Finance and Accounting practice, where he placed senior executives in internal audit, finance, product control and operations within the wholesale banking industry. He later moved into A-L’s strategy practice, placing executives in marketing and strategic planning for clients in a variety of industries.
Over the years, Robert has authored various articles pertaining to employment trends on risk management and consulting which have been published in Risk Professional, All About Risk, Collections and Credit Risk, Consultants News, and Executive Recruiter News. In 2001, Robert was honored by Who’s Who in Business for his community service and leadership roles.
Robert is a frequent speaker and host to several leading industry events. He collaborates with Harvard Business School, University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business, The British University in Dubai and The Centre for Risk Studies at Cambridge Judge Business School on best practice initiatives within risk and finance.
Robert currently serves as a Member of the New York Steering Committee for the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association (PRMIA) as well as a Member of the Board of Directors for The Boys’ & Girls’ Towns of Italy. Additionally, he is involved with the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), the Human Capital Institute of Africa (HCI Africa) and the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC).
Robert received a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.), in International Business, from Loyola University Maryland.
